INTERCHANGE VICTORIA HISTORY
In December 1980, a meeting of professional workers and parents of children with a disability overwhelmingly supported the establishment of Victoria’s first Interchange program. Interchange Victoria supports and resources its member programs to provide services through:
- Resourcing and communication activities
- Training and Development
- Statewide Publicity and Promotions
- Advocacy
Interchange Victoria is funded by the Department of Human Services Home and Community Care program.
There are 26 Interchange offices across Victoria which all provide the Host program and some recreation activities. For further information regarding the Interchange services available in your area contact us.
